Fela Anikulapo Kuti or simply Fela, was a Nigerian multi-instrumentalist, musician, pioneer of the Afrobeat music genre, human rights activist, and political nonconformist.
He often spoke openly against the eroding influence colonialism had on African culture. In this video, he speaks on his track Teacher don’t teach me no nonsense. He articulates his opinion on the “colonial mentality” Africa suffers.
